Sydney Upchurch and Shaurya Saluja are the co-founders of Fleet. Sydney, is responsible for Fleet's Planning & Partnerships and she is an urban planner and designer. She is committed to designing and deploying tech applications to make cities more sustainable, equitable, and efficient. Sydney has a diverse background with experience in fields from public policy to urban analytics. As a graduate student, she explored innovative new mobility solutions and worked on research at the MIT Urban Mobility Lab. She has a Master’s in urban planning from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Shaurya Saluja is Fleet's CEO and he has worked at the intersection of sustainability, transportation and technology for over a decade. Prior to founding Fleet with Sydney, he led technology and global growth for a private European train operator. Shaurya holds a degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, where he was also a competitive squash player and a frequent judge at hackathons.
